Laying the anticipation for the Gay and Lesbian Network’s main event, the Pink Mynah Festival. Gay and Lesbian Network challenges KwaZulu-Natal’s aspiring artists to showcase their talents on KwaZulu Natal’s Got Talent auditions.

Nurturing KZN’s LGBTIQ community livelihood. Gay and Lesbian Network is teaming up with the Department of Arts and Culture alongside Tourism KwaZulu-Natal and the Msunduzi Pietermaritzburg Tourism Association.
Creating a platform that’ll further shine the light to most especially young, unemployed and marginalized LGBTIQ communities. The search for the next KZN’s entertainment vegetarians in on, KwaZulu Natals’s Got Talent contest will be taking place in October.
Gay and Lesbian Network continues to create a non-discriminatory, rather supportive and accepting society. South africa’s longest running Queer non-profit organizations. Situated in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, nearly three decades serving it’s core objectives such as to develop, uplift and recognize LGBTIQ people within and around the village.
How do I participate ?
The auditions will be held on the 18th and 19th of June at the PMB Tourism Hub, at 280 Langalibalele Street, Pietermaritzburg, 3201 (Opposite Spar, Boxer & Mini Market) at the market square. Those wanting to audition can do so between 9am and 4pm.
Is there a fee to audition, what if we’re a group? The entrance fee is R50 for individuals and R100 for a group.
The Audition: Your audition may not exceed 2 minutes. Any act that exceeds 2 minutes in duration will be stopped.
What should I bring with?
• Dancers must bring their own music on a CD.
• Singers must bring a backing track to your audition.
• Musicians must bring all of their own equipment.
• Variety acts must take health and safety into account.

The final talent show will be held on 25 June at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall.
